New Driveways, Patios and Garden Offices in Fleet | Your Questions Answered

At DPS Landscaping & Roofing, we are much more than a local roofing and landscaping company. We are partners to customers and clients in the Fleet area, and their preferred choice for new driveways, patios and artificial grass. Those who use us for garden fencing construction or garden offices also benefit from our collaborative approach. Whether you are looking to have block paving laid, a new hardscape created or simply wish to make your outdoor space more ornate with garden wall construction, we can help.

You can also use us for a choice of high-end roofing services.

Understandably, many of our end users come to us in the first instance with a series of questions. Our roofers and landscapers deal with them all.

Below, we answer some of the more common queries we receive from those in Fleet who have been looking for a roofing and landscaping company they can trust, and which can provide them with the answers that they need.

Does your landscaping company have good credentials?

Yes. The personnel at DPS Landscaping & Roofing share more than 20 years of experience and we have built an excellent reputation across the three counties of Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey. What makes us different from our competitors is our focus on you, our valued customer. We treat you as the most important part of our business and make your needs our main priority.

All landscapers on our team have studied for their vocations or received on-the-job training to develop their skillsets and to service you better.

I’m interested in block paving. Which type of installation should I consider?

You can have new driveways and garden patios laid in block paving, and it is also possible to use pavers for garden paths. Whichever surface you end up choosing, you will benefit from attractive designs in a choice of patterns and, because block paving is a permeable material, there is less likelihood that we will need to alter the drainage of your Fleet property to clear surface water.

If we do need to work on a drainage system, or if our landscapers decide to put in a soakaway, we will factor this into our quotation.

Should I opt for walls in my garden or go with fencing instead?

Garden wall construction is a better choice for those who want a permanent solution or wish to match up brickwork with a property’s exterior or other hard landscaping elements. With garden fencing, we believe that panels are the better choice for Fleet homeowners who want to keep a more natural feel. Timber panels tie in well with beds, borders, hedges, trees and greenery.

DPS Landscaping & Roofing, a garden wall construction and garden fencing specialist, adds privacy, security and containment to homes in the local area.

Should I replace my lawn with artificial grass?

If you want to spend less time maintaining a garden or don’t have enough energy to put hours into mowing and strimming, then artificial grass could be a good choice for your home. With shock-pad systems included with our installations, we can lay practical surfaces that are safe for children and pets, and which are professionally manufactured to look just like the real thing.

Artificial grass needs little more than the occasional clearance of leaves and winter debris, and we recommend that you pick up pet waste immediately.

How will a garden office change my work-from-home experience?

If you work from home in Fleet but are still in earshot of family life, the chances are that you often feel distracted or find it hard to concentrate. Garden offices give you a dedicated workspace away from everybody else in the home so that you can focus on the job, be more productive, clear workloads and keep your business (or that of the company you work for) in profit.

Our landscapers can construct garden offices and garden rooms in brick or in timber, and we can also fit double-glazed doors and windows.

Can you tell me a little more about your roofing services?

Of course! Because we offer the joint services of roofers and landscapers, the ability to install, repair or replace any pitched or flat roofing structure is well within our remit. From slates and tiles to modern flat roofs in EPDM rubber or GRP fibreglass, as well as torch-on-felt, there isn’t a substrate we can’t fit. The promise of guaranteed workmanship is a desirable end-user benefit.

We can also deal with leadwork, chimney repairs and, if you need to have a roofline replaced, we excel in fitting UPVC fascias, soffits and guttering.
